industry, Dan Beck has been a builder and leader at some
of the foremost tech companies around the globe.
As SAP SuccessFactors’s President and Chief Product
O?icer, Dan is responsible for setting product vision,
leading product management and design and driving
engineering and operations success.
He has a proven track record of identifying and solving
customers’ most pressing challenges, including an
entrepreneurial streak that he brings to each of his teams. Alongside developing solutions
that will shape the future of work, Dan is an expert in developing and scaling nextgeneration enterprise cloud businesses from concept to scale, including business strategy,
product development, mergers and acquisitions, and market acceleration.
Prior to SAP SuccessFactors, Dan held several leadership and executive positions, most
recently as a Senior Vice President of the Application Product Group at Beeline, a
technology provider for extended workforce management solution, where he joined
following the successful acquisition of Utmost, a company he cofounded. Prior to Utmost,
Dan held several leadership positions over 10 years at Workday, including as Senior Vice
President for Platform Technology.
Dan has a bachelor’s degree from University of California – Berkeley and an MBA from
Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He lives with his wife and three
boys in the San Francisco Bay Area
